  • At the moment, BTC/USD is trading at $8,047. For the last four days, the price has stabilized and is traded in the of $8,000 to $8,300 corridor right now.

  • Bitcoin has recovered from the negative Tether USD news and then set a new high at $8,365. This indicates the "bullish” mood on the market.

  • The closest support level is at $8,000. There are also emerging levels at $7,800 and $7,500 areas.

  • Further upward movement depends on the risk appetites. The stock market is at its highs. The new all highs scenario is also possible, and the relevant resistance levels can be found in the $8,300 - $8,500 zone.
ETH/USD

  • The first version of Casper software has been published. The consensus mechanism in the blocker Ethereum will be changed from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake. Ethereum is currently at its historic highs and appears to be ready for further rise. It might be a good idea to check the daily price schedule (1D).

  • Ethereum came close to the June high of $421.

  • The likely scenario now is breaking through a resistance level, consolidation above $400 and further movement to $480 to $500.

  • In case of the correction to the  $400 to $380 levels, I would recommend to increase long positions.

  • If the ETH/USD pair fails to get a foothold above $400, it’s likely to return to the $350 to $370 channel, with the strongest support level.

I would definitely be happy with a little consilation. Ethereum jumped to record highs before I could buy more! Why is it always doing that? It still looks like we are on track for a $500-600+ end of year price.

Check out the link for more info, and also details about Litecoin.

There was tons of selling at 480, Im pretty sure ICOs have been dumping for fiat .

We are likely to consolidate here below 480 for a couple weeks before another big move over 600 end of year , imo.

I don't think Ethereum will rise like Bitcoin, but it may increase upto 500 and then $1000 in next year, so far I have sold this Ethereum too before rising to $70 and lost some money.

Yeah! It looks like ether may be running to $500 right now. I was able to buy a little more, hopefully it pays off because I was going to use some of that cash for christmas!

There are a lot of good opportunities out there still, I believe a lot of us are still early to the game and many of these cryptos will continue to double and triple in price. It is, of course, highly speculative.

You're not alone in needing to sell early, sorry to hear that!  Sad
The Ethereum killer is Ethereum, the Ethereum of China is Ethereum, the Ethereum of Taiwan is Ethereum... 2.0

IMO, Bitcoin is the gateway drug to crypto - once people start learning more about the technology, the value of Ethereum begins to be obvious. I'm personally not a huge fan of BTC, but to each their own!

Too bad ya had to sell that Ether, maybe ya still get back in like Etherwin said =)

Cheers!!

I think we're starting to look like 600+ eth by end of year . $1k doesn't seem unlikely .
