I'm thinking of buying a few thousand dollars of this token because of the fee split .. I think it could potentially be a great coin to buy and forget for a few years .

Of course I've done a little digging and it has some concerning things behind it , but you can never be sure .

jw if anyone has opinions

Thanks !
I'm not sure "a few thousand dollars" is a good idea, unless that kind of money is meaningless to you.

To be fair, I haven't read a whole lot about it, but I have heard some rumors regarding the team - and even discounting their past downfalls - the purpose of the COSS token is to receive a "dividend" of sorts from fees on their exchange. 50% of the fees are automatically distributed evenly to COSS token holders.

It's a really cool idea, in theory..

The problem is that their exchange, currently - sees small volume demand for anything except their very own token. The volume also appears to be dwindling.

If they make some UI enhancements and make the exchange a little more appealing, you may see volume flood in and the coss token might grow in value.. but they do have some work to do.

I hate to say it, but I agree. The concept behind Coss.io is a great one, and if they had a competent team behind the token - they could indeed see volume increase, but I just don't see it happening.
Of course, there is a chance that they DO put out a new interface and they DO start attracting more users - of which case, the market cap could double or triple easily - so consider this a gamble rather than an investment.

Personally, I think there are much better opportunities out there.
