Coinbase, which holds "approximately $9B in assets" is accepting applications from funds with $10M or more for their digital asset custody. These funds are safeguarded and allow investors exclusive support.

This is really one of the biggest things happening in the cryptos market right now.. liquidity and prices are about to EXPLODE!

I'm thinking about selling my kidney in order to buy more ETH!

So much news this week I can hardly digest it all!

It seems like Coinbase is lining up a few fireworks in a row to set em all off in succession. There's a screenshot rolling around mentioning ERC20 tokens being included as well! These are rumored to include OMG, BAT, GNT, maybe ZRX. I would assume only mature tokens would be added, and they may even be available to institutional investors.

Basic Attention Token already has a working product, and is releasing news almost weekly with some very exciting stuff - I am still not sure how the currenct adtech giants like Google/youtube/facebook will respond to this, so I don't own any yet...

Golem is expected to release Brass Q1 2018, and is definitely a token that I hold. A supercomputer accessible to anyone for any task, such a marvelous concept. Brass will be limited to Blender renders, but that's still a great step in the right direction!

It is great, however Bitcoin will probably remain more traded than ETH. Institutions require liquidity which still isn't sufficient with ether. This is particularly valid with the approach of the CBOE / CME BTC futures and alternatives.

It sucks to state that, as I hold far more ETH than BTC, however I feel it's true.

$10 billion doesn't really seem like that much considering Bitcoin alone added $41 billion to its market cap in only 6 days . Even if some of that money did come from alts - that's a huge amount .

I have two ideas -

- many instituionals are already in and the news will start coming out legally allowing them to be in, but they already are . I don't trust the market , and especially not big money .

- there is hundreds of billions coming in 2018, if not a trillion in the next couple years only .

Interesting little find here:

This will be the trend.

This is what excites me,
"Support for a wide range of digital assets and currencies"

I wonder what cryptos coinbase is going to add?
